Facebook Data Deletion & Account Removal
What data do we store?
When you sign in to Wish 2 Goal via Facebook, we receive and store only:
- Your email address
- Your display name
- Your profile picture URL
This data is stored in our authentication provider (Supabase) and linked to your wishlists and items. We do not access your Facebook friends list, posts, photos, or any other Facebook data.
How to delete your data
You have two options:
Option 1: Delete from the app (recommended)
- Sign in to wish2goal.app
- Click your profile picture in the top right corner
- Select "Delete Account"
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog
This immediately deletes all your wishlists, items, images, and your account.
Option 2: Email request
Send an email to privacy@wish2goal.app with the subject "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address associated with your Facebook login.
We will process your request and delete all associated data within 30 days.
What gets deleted?
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your authentication record (email, name, profile picture)
- All wishlists you created
- All items within those wishlists
- All uploaded images
- All guest reservations on your items
Server logs that may contain your IP address are automatically purged after 90 days.
Revoke Facebook permissions
In addition to deleting your data from Wish 2 Goal, you can revoke our access to your Facebook account:
- Go to Facebook Settings & Privacy → Settings
- Click Apps and Websites
- Find "Wish 2 Goal" and click Remove
